| All-American SuperCars, in association with Vortech Engineering, the industry leader in supercharger technology, debuted its 2007 Vortech Edition Mustang to rave reviews at the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The new car marked the very first time in its history, that Vortech Engineering has permitted a specialty car manufacturer to use the respected Vortech trademark. Sporting limited edition identifiers and the new Vortech “V Power” badges which indicate that the vehicle will be equipped with a new high efficiency supercharger, the Vortech Edition Mustang is a blend of beauty and beast. And, what a beast it is! The new Vortech “V Power” system features an upgraded configuration with advanced impeller design for ultra-high efficiency plus an enlarged air/water, dual pass charge cooler for supporting additional boost pressure. According to the engineers at Vortech, the new design should produce 515 horsepower at the flywheel using only 8 pounds of boost. In order to handle the power of the new supercharger system, All-American integrated only top tier powertrain and suspension components into the vehicle. That package includes Ford Racing Products, springs, shocks and swaybars; BMR lower control arms and adjustable panhard bar; Hurst competition shifter; JBA shorty headers; Boss Motorsports 336 wheels (20 x 8.5 front, 20x10 rear); Baer 14 inch GT Plus front and Baer 14 inch Eradispeed + 2 rear brakes; and Toyo Proxes 4 (255/45-20 front, 295/40-20 rear tires. Of particular importance to the elite Ford Dealers who will be lucky enough to get one of the cars for their showroom as well as the customers that will get there early enough to buy one, is Vortech’s announcement that new superchargers will come with a 36 month, 36 thousand mile powertrain warranty. All-American also designed a unique paint scheme unlike any other SEMA show entrant that was applied by California Custom and combined it with a beautiful color coordinated leather interior from Katzkin. The design was topped off with styling products from Classic Design, 3d Carbon and Street Scene. What a great time to be a Mustang fanatic! While only 100 of the 515 horsepower beauties will be Vortech sold to select Ford Motor Company dealers in the United States, All-American will be producing other high performance editions with varying paint schemes in the near future.
